Renita Allen Toner 

Excelled at basketball and volleyball at Lexington High School. In basketball, she began playing in the seventh grade and started five seasons, averaging 10.5 points as a freshman; 17.5 points and being All-Area as a sophomore; averaging 19 points, 10 rebounds and five assists while making All-County, All-Area and All-Times Daily teams. Finished with 1,395 career points. In volleyball, she earned starting position on the state championship team as a freshman and was the state's MVP as a senior. Named All-County and All­Area her final three seasons. In track, she finished fourth in the state three times in the shot put. Signed basketball scholarship with Calhoun and started 15 of 21 games, averaging 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds. Transferred to UNA the following year to play volley­ball. Earned starting position and was team's best blocker and outstanding team player while producing 185 kills. All-GSC selection twice and led Lions to top 10 national ranking.
