A dominating softball and basketball player and at Waterloo who went on to star on the collegiate softball level at UNA. Her career pitching record at Waterloo was 155-38, with a career earned run average of 0.37. She had 1,704 career strikeouts in 1,129 innings, while also hitting .417 and hitting 19 homeruns. In basketball, she averaged 16.6 points per game during her career. Her accomplishments in both sports were numerous. She holds the National High School record with 31 shutouts in 2005. She posted 33 wins in 2003 and 40 in 2005, and had 10 no-hitters and 506 strikeouts to go along with her 31 shutouts in ’05. She won numerous Alabama player of the year and all-state teams recognition. At UNA, she was All-Gulf South Conference and hit 15 homeruns in 2010.
