Joe Frank Fowler 

Fowler played at Rogers High School, but he became known as "Mr. Referee" after officiating for over 34 years. He officiated football, basketball and baseball and was involved with numerous State Tournaments. He assigned officials to games for 20 years and was the Director for the North­west District Officials Association, Junior Colleges were established inAlabama in 1966 and Fowler called games in the JUCO league, as well as the Gulf South Conference, until his retirement.
