Moses Brewer

Moses Brewer was a five year letterman at Burrell-Slater High School where he averaged 22 points per game from the eighth grade forward.  He was an All State selection and captain of the team from 1964-66.  In perhaps the best testament to his skills on and off the floor Brewer had his jersey retired in recognition of having been an "outstanding basketball player and leader".  He initially attended Northeastern Junior College and eventually signed with the University of Denver where he lettered 3 years and was named Basketball Player of the Year in 1969.
