Nathan Killen 

He began playing varsity level sports for Rogers High School in the eighth grade.  Killen played baseball, basketball, and football. 1985-1987 he led his baseball team with the highest batting average.  In 1987 he was selected to the All Area Team as catcher.  In football he was selected to the All County, All Area, and All State teams in 1986.  In 1987 Killen earned Army All Scholar Athletic Award. He made Times Daily Honorable Mention Player of the Week five times and Suburban News Player of the Week ten times.  Killen played four years at University of North Alabama under Coach Bobby Wallace.  He walked on in 1988 and was later awarded a scholarship.  He was a four year letterman.  Starting at Offensive Lineman he played in every game except one due to a concussion.  In 1993 Killen began his coaching career at his alma matter Rogers High School.  As assistant football coach from 1993-2011 Rogers made it to the Final 8 three times and Final 4 one time.  As head track coach from 1994-2007 Rogers won six Sectionals (5 boys and 1 girls), two State Runner Ups (1998 and 2001), and one State Championship in 1997.  More than thirty of his student athletes won individual state titles.  Ten of his student athletes signed with colleges.
